Where the Sun Lies — Phase 1
Where the Sun Lies takes the Maghrib—“where the sun sets”—as its starting point: a territory where earthly and mythical geographies meet. Light becomes memory, orientation and projection: a way to revisit histories and identities, and to imagine futures through our own narratives.
Bringing together sculpture and digital creation, the exhibition unfolds as a speculative, fragmented landscape in which traces of the present, mythologies and visions of the future coexist. It moves beyond the opposition between tradition and innovation to consider imagination as an act of emancipation.
